Down To Earth Herbal Infusions began with something simple: a love for tea, herbs, family, and the traditions passed down through generations.

Founded in 2022 by Nelly Garcia, Down To Earth was inspired by the women in her family-her great-aunt, grandmother, and mother-who taught her the beauty of slowing down, using what nature gives us, and caring for the people around us.

What started with small-batch loose-leaf tea blends has grown into a botanical lifestyle brand centered around tea, connection, creativity, and intentional living.

More Than Just Tea

Today, Down To Earth Herbal Infusions offers thoughtfully crafted loose-leaf teas, botanical-inspired bath and body products, candles, tea essentials, and our signature handcrafted tea drinks.

We carefully select ingredients and create our products in small batches, with a focus on keeping things simple and intentional.

Whether you're brewing a quiet cup at home, grabbing one of our colorful tea creations at a farmers market, or finding the perfect little gift, we want Down To Earth to feel like something you can make part of your everyday life.

From Farmers Markets to Our Little Shop

Our journey has taken us from setting up tables at local farmers markets and community events to opening our own little retail space at the Brookfield Small Shops.

You can still find us doing what helped build this business in the first place-packing up the car, setting up our booth, pouring tea, meeting new people, and showing up in the communities that have supported us along the way.

We're proud to be a small, family-operated Illinois business, and even prouder that every purchase helps us continue building something that started from the ground up.
